CASE STUDY

Turning QE maturity findings into a practical improvement roadmap

Challenge

A technology organisation needed to evaluate the maturity, effectiveness and alignment of its quality processes across a complex software delivery environment. It wanted clearer visibility of QA practices, quality risks, process gaps and improvement priorities before deciding how to raise maturity across test policy, test organisation, strategy and automation.

Approach

Resillion applied its structured QE Maturity Assessment methodology, using stakeholder interviews, maturity mapping and evidence-based scoring against a repeatable framework informed by multiple industry-recognised testing maturity models. The assessment reviewed the current “as-is” maturity position, defined a target “to-be” state and assessed key process areas using detailed criteria to support objective, quantifiable findings.

Result

The client received an executive summary, maturity rating, category-level findings and prioritised recommendations covering areas such as automation strategy, test traceability, release predictability, defect management, CI reliability and data-led decision-making. This gave leadership a clearer roadmap for improving quality maturity and focusing investment where delivery risk was highest.
