Resillion restores 1963 western film, HUD

We were delighted that our new 4K restoration of the classic 1963 film HUD, starring the legendary Paul Newman, premiered at the TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood, California, on 24 April 2025.

Our skilled team of digital film restoration artists carefully restored the film, allowing long time fans and new viewers to experience it in best possible picture quality.

Furthermore, this restoration represents a collaboration between Resillion, Criterion Collection and Paramount Pictures, and is a real showcase of our collective commitment to film preservation.

New 4K restoration of Terrence Malick’s Days of Heaven

Resillion’s best in class digital film restoration team has played an integral role in restoring hundreds of classic films. From Orson Wells’ landmark, Citizen Kane to Martin Scorsese’s gritty tour de force, Mean Streets and more recently, Terrence Malick’s masterpiece, Days Of Heaven.

Preserving indie cinema

We completed a new 4K HDR restoration of Mysterious Skin (dir. Gregg Araki), working from a scanned original camera negative and overseen by the director himself. The restored film premiered at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on 19 September 2025 and celebrates indie-cinema preservation at its finest.
