Expert in Test Governance and Non-Functional Testing

With 30 years of experience, Dan brings a deep and broad understanding of software quality and how to test it effectively. With a background in load and performance as well as ergonomics, Dan helps clients implement non-functional testing in addition to testing across the lifecycle.

Dan has worked on multiple parts of the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure and advised on how these essential systems should be tested to ensure reliability and functionality. These include complex technical solutions with 99.999% availability requirements.

Dan believes in helping advance the art of testing and growing the next generation of professionals. He is co-author of DSDM Agile Project Framework and a contributor to PRINCE2 Agile. Dan has worked with the SFIA organization to update how testing is defined in modern professional contexts and works with universities to help shape their courses on IT subjects to ensure quality is addressed for students in this key field.
