Resillion achieves CREST SOC accredited status

Commissum is proud to announce that it has been CREST accredited for Security Operations Centre (SOC) services, further strengthening its current CREST accreditations comprising Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, and CREST STAR (intelligence-led penetration testing) and adding to other industry related certifications. 

Holding CREST SOC accreditation demonstrates to clients and other stakeholders that Commissum services delivered from the SOC meet industry and regulatory standards, and professionals are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and competent. SOC practitioners are further certified to individual CREST certifications themselves, along with many other academic, industry, and vendor-specific qualifications, meaning the people, process, and technology within the SOC are industry leading. 

Following the external audit, carried out against six key areas and their subcategories, Commissum has now been formally recognised as providing CREST SOC services, one of only 28 companies currently accredited globally. Moreover, Commissum additionally holds ISO 17025 accredited (digital forensic and incident response) lab status, meaning events detected by the SOC can be forensically investigated and the findings reported to a court-approved standard – a unique and powerful combination of accreditations and capabilities within the marketplace – and the only organisation globally to hold this combination at the time of publication, providing a truly, end-to-end ‘Defend, Detect, Respond, Recover’ service.
