New USB stick from ADTH and Shift2Stream’s MyVelo TV Premiere NEXTGEN Smart TV box add to the range of certified accessory devices for ATSC 3.0 NEXTGEN TV. 

FCC public notice accelerates ATSC 3.0 transition
Resillion is proud to have supported the certification of new devices from Shift2Stream and ADTH for the ATSC 3.0 NEXTGEN TV Logo program in 2025. These new models were featured at CES in January 2025. With the FCC’s recent public notice expected to speed the transition from ATSC 1.0 to ATSC 3.0 – and create demand for converter and accessory devices – this news underscores the industry-wide effort and global progress in deploying NEXTGEN TV.  

Updated test suite covers 600+ requirements 
The new certified devices represent a crucial step forward in ensuring conformance and interoperability for ATSC 3.0 receiver testing. The latest test suite, updated in June 2025, now includes more than 475 test cases and over 600 testable requirements across key NEXTGEN TV use cases, with contributions from industry leaders such as Sinclair and Pearl TV. 

Global collaboration driving innovation in NEXTGEN TV

China tour builds global momentum for ATSC 3.0

These advancements build on a week-long tour in China, hosted by Resillion and the NERC DTV team with representatives from PearlTV, Managing Director Anne Schelle, and ATSC Board Chair Richard Friedel. The tour provided a valuable chance to share US insights on the rapid rollout of ATSC 3.0 NEXTGEN TV and its new features. The group also met with manufacturers across the supply chain, including motherboard and reference design companies, SOCs, ODMs, and OEMs.
