James Trickett

James Trickett is the Conformance and Interoperability Engineering Manager at Resillion, where he leads engineering teams responsible for designing and delivering practical conformance and interoperability solutions. His work focuses on helping clients validate compliance, reduce integration risk, and achieve dependable interoperability across complex and highly regulated technology ecosystems.

James joined Resillion ten years ago as a graduate software engineer after completing a BSc in Computer Science. He spent several years working directly on CI+ and HbbTV programmes, gaining deep technical experience before moving into project management and, subsequently, engineering leadership. This progression gives him a strong balance of hands‑on technical understanding and delivery accountability.

James is particularly passionate about automation, shifting testing left, and improving the efficiency of conformance workflows. He works closely with customers and internal teams to modernise test development and execution, ensuring conformance and interoperability activities scale effectively while remaining aligned with real‑world implementation and delivery constraints.
