Resillion accredited by EPI as External Security Evaluator
Resillion has been accredited by the European Payments Initiative (EPI) as an official External Security Evaluator. This accreditation positions Resillion at the forefront of mobile payments security, reinforcing our role as a trusted partner for banks and payment providers across Europe.
The recognition allows Resillion to perform security evaluations for the certification and approval of EPI’s Standalone Wallet and EPI Digital Wallet Applications. These are critical elements of Wero, EPI’s digital wallet and instant payment platform, designed to enable simple, secure, fast and sovereign online payments across Europe.
With this certification, European financial institutions can bring Wero-based mobile payment solutions to market faster and with greater confidence in their security and compliance.
“We’re proud to support EPI’s mission to make digital payments faster, safer, and more reliable across Europe” said Pascual Laguna, Head of Banking and Financial Services Industry at Resillion. “From Wero wallet certification to resilience testing under TIBER-EU, our clients can rely on us to accelerate the secure adoption of next-generation payment solutions.”
Beyond Wero, this milestone highlights Resillion’s broader expertise in mobile application security, cyber security testing and regulatory compliance. Using our experience delivering TIBER-EU threat-led red-team exercises, we help financial institutions strengthen resilience against real-world cyber threats while staying ahead of evolving regulatory frameworks such as DORA, PSD3 and NIS2.
